About the role
- Partner with business leaders to understand their HR needs and provide solutions
- Implement talent management strategies, including succession planning and leadership development
- Manage performance management processes and provide coaching to managers
- Support in recruitment activities, including interviewing and selecting candidates for open positions
- Participate in the offer making process by preparing and presenting job offers to successful candidates, negotiating terms in alignment with company policies, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and resolve employee relations issues
- Analyse HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Manage small to medium-sized HR projects
- Develop and deliver training programmes on HR topics
- Collaborate and align with Works Council
- Oversee the management of sickness absence in accordance with the Wet Verbetering Poortwachter
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist
- Experience working with the Works Council and managing absenteeism cases
- Up-to-date knowledge of Dutch employment law
- Strong advisory skills and ability to influence stakeholders
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English
- Availability of at least 32 hours per week
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and multitasking ability
- Problem-solving skills
- Thrive while working under pressure
- A keen eye for detail
- Work independently (and remotely) and is a great team player
