About the role

  • Partner with business leaders to understand their HR needs and provide solutions
  • Implement talent management strategies, including succession planning and leadership development
  • Manage performance management processes and provide coaching to managers
  • Support in recruitment activities, including interviewing and selecting candidates for open positions
  • Participate in the offer making process by preparing and presenting job offers to successful candidates, negotiating terms in alignment with company policies, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and resolve employee relations issues
  • Analyse HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
  • Manage small to medium-sized HR projects
  • Develop and deliver training programmes on HR topics
  • Collaborate and align with Works Council
  • Oversee the management of sickness absence in accordance with the Wet Verbetering Poortwachter

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist
  • Experience working with the Works Council and managing absenteeism cases
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Dutch employment law
  • Strong advisory skills and ability to influence stakeholders
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English
  • Availability of at least 32 hours per week
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and multitasking ability
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Thrive while working under pressure
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Work independently (and remotely) and is a great team player
