About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You take responsibility in business software projects with a focus on finance and accounting, controlling & reporting
- Analyze existing finance processes and develop suitable ERP solutions together with the business units
- Gather requirements, question workflows and translate business needs into clear implementation steps
- Support companies in optimizing and digitizing their finance processes
- Facilitate workshops, structure complex issues and produce clear, understandable outcomes
- Work at the interface between finance, business analysis, ERP software and project implementation
- Guide projects from initial analysis through design to go-live
- Apply your process knowledge in finance and accounting to deliver technically sound and practical solutions
- Assist with testing new features, review results and ensure high implementation quality
- Find pragmatic solutions for issues related to finance processes, ERP functionality & business software
- Create traceable documentation of requirements, decisions & implementation steps
- Support training and workshops and explain ERP functionality in an understandable way
- Identify recurring questions or process issues and derive meaningful improvements
- Actively contribute to standards, templates and best practices that make projects more efficient and comprehensible
- Continuously expand your expertise in business software, finance and project work
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed further education or degree in business administration, business informatics, finance & accounting or a comparable field
- Professional experience in finance & accounting, controlling, fiduciary services or a comparable finance function
- Solid understanding of financial workflows, accounting processes and practical business context
- Enjoy questioning, structuring and advancing processes with digital solutions
- Strong affinity for ERP systems, business software and digitalization
- Ideally, initial experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Dynamics NAV or a comparable ERP solution
- Experience in business analysis or project management is an advantage; more important are interest, process understanding and willingness to develop these skills
- Ability to capture business requirements, logically structure them and communicate them clearly
