About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for business software projects with a focus on finance and accounting, controlling and reporting
- Analyze existing financial processes and develop appropriate ERP solutions together with business stakeholders
- Capture requirements, challenge existing workflows and translate business needs into clear implementation steps
- Support companies in optimizing and digitizing their financial processes
- Facilitate workshops, structure complex issues and produce clear, understandable outcomes
- Actively contribute to standards, templates and best practices to make projects more efficient and comprehensible
- Assist with testing new functionalities, review results and ensure a high standard of implementation quality
- Apply your process knowledge in finance and accounting to develop sound, practical solutions for everyday use
- Support training and clearly explain ERP functions for daily work
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed further education or degree in business administration, business informatics, finance and accounting or a comparable field
- Professional experience in finance and accounting, controlling, fiduciary services or a comparable finance function
- Good practical understanding of financial processes, accounting workflows and business management concepts
- Enjoy questioning, structuring and advancing processes with digital solutions
- Strong affinity for ERP systems, business software and digitization
- Ideally, initial experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Dynamics NAV or a comparable ERP solution
- Experience in business analysis or project management is an advantage; more important are interest, process understanding and willingness to learn
- Ability to capture business requirements, logically assess them and communicate them clearly
- Enjoy working at the interface between finance, software, end users and the project & development team
- Experience as a Key User, project team member, ERP user or Super User is an additional plus
