About the role

  • You develop scalable, maintainable, and secure full‑stack solutions for our SaaS product in the life sciences domain.
  • You use AI tools deliberately to accelerate development, increase quality, and make better engineering decisions.

  • You own topics end-to-end: from requirements and architecture through implementation and testing to release and operations.

  • You raise engineering quality within the team through code reviews, standards, test strategy, and active tech‑debt reduction.
  • You mentor Junior and Professional Engineers and establish AI‑assisted engineering practices (e.g., for testing, refactoring, and documentation).

Requirements

  • You have several years of experience building SaaS products as a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer and deliver features end‑to‑end.
  • You translate product requirements into robust technical solutions and communicate clearly and structured with engineering as well as product and business stakeholders.
  • You use AI tools in your daily work to speed up development and improve quality (e.g., for testing, refactoring, debugging, and documentation).
  • You have solid skills in software engineering and architecture (system design, scaling, reliability, security).
  • You have high quality standards: testing, clean releases, monitoring/operational readiness, and long‑term maintainability are standard for you.
  • You are proficient in German and English and ideally have experience in the life sciences sector or other regulated environments.
