About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensuring, monitoring, and managing the operational technical property management.
- Monitoring compliance with maintenance and inspection plans as well as general safety regulations and legal requirements.
- Cooperation with public authorities on the replacement of technical installations.
- Technical assessment, recommendation, commissioning, and coordination of CapEx and repair measures.
- Coordination and supervision of external service providers.
- Warranty management and insurance claims management.
- Budget preparation and control.
- Tendering for construction works and technical measures
- Managing costs, quality, budget, and timelines.
- Conducting regular property inspections.
- Close collaboration with commercial property managers and asset management.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in a technical field or technical training, preferably with an additional qualification (e.g., real estate economist)
- Solid technical experience in property and/or facility management for commercial real estate
- Independent and self-reliant working style
- Strong network of craftsmen and service providers
- Team player with commitment, flexibility, and assertiveness
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with CAFM systems, especially getFM & Singu
- Experience with ERP/ Property Management systems, especially Yardi
- Language skills: German (native or bilingual level), English (professional working level).
