About the role
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in defense and aerospace (civil and military markets)
- Define and deploy a commercial development strategy for your scope
- Actively prospect new clients and partners
- Lead high-value service offerings (maintenance in operational condition — MCO, obsolescence management, specialized industrial-level repairs)
- Prepare and structure responses to public and private tender processes
- Coordinate internal contributions (technical, legal, financial) to develop relevant and competitive proposals
- Establish industrial partnerships or consortia when necessary
- Lead commercial and contractual negotiations in complex environments
- Secure contractual commitments and ensure the profitability of projects
- Maintain rigorous follow-up of ongoing contracts
- Build and sustain long-term trusted relationships with clients
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events and client meetings
Requirements
- Master's degree (Bac+5) — engineering school (ideally in electronics) or business school with a strong technical orientation
- Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in commercial roles, ideally selling services associated with complex electronic systems
- Experience in defense, aerospace or high-technology industry sectors
- Good knowledge of regulatory environments related to aircraft maintenance (e.g., certification frameworks)
- Demonstrated experience managing complex tender processes and long sales cycles
