About the role

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in defense and aerospace (civil and military markets)
  • Define and deploy a commercial development strategy for your scope
  • Actively prospect new clients and partners
  • Lead high-value service offerings (maintenance in operational condition — MCO, obsolescence management, specialized industrial-level repairs)
  • Prepare and structure responses to public and private tender processes
  • Coordinate internal contributions (technical, legal, financial) to develop relevant and competitive proposals
  • Establish industrial partnerships or consortia when necessary
  • Lead commercial and contractual negotiations in complex environments
  • Secure contractual commitments and ensure the profitability of projects
  • Maintain rigorous follow-up of ongoing contracts
  • Build and sustain long-term trusted relationships with clients
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events and client meetings

Requirements

  • Master's degree (Bac+5) — engineering school (ideally in electronics) or business school with a strong technical orientation
  • Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in commercial roles, ideally selling services associated with complex electronic systems
  • Experience in defense, aerospace or high-technology industry sectors
  • Good knowledge of regulatory environments related to aircraft maintenance (e.g., certification frameworks)
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex tender processes and long sales cycles
