Oversee overall site surveillance and ensure proportionate and effective interventions.
Participate in apprehensions in cases of observed offences (pre-theft, video, on-site).
Manage and monitor outsourced security services.
Implement and update fire prevention procedures, evacuation plans and risk prevention plans.
Make appropriate decisions in the event of anomalies or malfunctions that could compromise safety.
Ensure evacuation procedures are followed.
Detect risk situations and implement prevention measures against acts of terrorism.
Ensure employees comply with safety rules (PPE, material handling equipment, etc.).
Assist and protect people when needed.
Plan workloads and organize assignments for the security team.
Establish and enforce prevention procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience coordinating a security and fire safety team, ideally in a large retail environment.
Solid knowledge of security and fire safety.
Familiarity with security systems and standards (anti-theft/EAS antennas, CCTV, etc.).
First-aid skills (SST/occupational first-aider, AED).
Proficiency in conflict intervention techniques.
Leadership and ability to lead a team.
Rigour and a strong sense of responsibility.
Responsiveness and calm under pressure in emergency situations.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
Good interpersonal skills and effective communication.
