About the role

  • Lead the development and modernization of integration services, ensuring a scalable, resilient infrastructure prepared for global growth.
  • Design and implement APIs, webhooks, and asynchronous integrations to connect OZmap with partner systems.
  • Drive architectural evolution, leading the transition from a microservices setup to a monorepo, and define technical standards and best practices.
  • Actively contribute to hands-on coding, with a focus on quality, performance, and measurable impact.
  • Analyze technical requirements and support the organization and management of tasks in coordination with the team lead.
  • Serve as a technical reference for the Automation and Data Handling teams, supporting architectural decisions and resolving complex issues.
  • Perform code reviews, monitor performance metrics, and propose continuous improvements to systems.
  • Foster a strong, collaborative, solution-oriented engineering culture.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Senior Backend Developer (minimum 1 year).
  • Software development experience (minimum 4 years).
  • Strong, recent experience with Node.js and TypeScript (minimum 2 years).
  • Proficiency with MongoDB, with a focus on performance-oriented schema design and aggregations.
  • Extensive experience with system integrations (APIs, webhooks, messaging, and asynchronous communication).
  • Hands-on knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and cloud architecture concepts.
  • Experience with Git / Git Flow.
  • Advanced English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Ability to work autonomously with strong organization and technical responsibility.
