About the role
- Develop and maintain VBA macros and scripts to automate tasks in Excel, Access, Word, and other Office applications.
- Design internal tools to facilitate data processing and analysis.
- Optimize existing processes to save time and reduce manual errors.
- Participate in gathering and analyzing user requirements to propose appropriate solutions.
- Test and document developed scripts and tools to ensure their reliability and maintainability.
- Train and support internal users in the use of VBA tools.
Requirements
- Minimum of a two- to three-year post-secondary diploma or degree (e.g., Associate’s or Bachelor’s) in Computer Science, Finance, Management, Statistics, or a related field.
- At least 4 years' experience in VBA development or task automation.
- Interest in process optimization and data management.
- Proficiency in VBA (Excel, Access, Word).
- Good knowledge of Excel formulas, pivot tables, charts, and advanced functions.
- Knowledge of SQL and databases is a plus.
- Understanding of business processes and the ability to propose automated solutions.
- Familiarity with development best practices and documentation.
