About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify key metrics and create reports and dashboards to track them
  • Monitor and analyze metrics and user behaviour to identify fraud or suspicious behaviour
  • Create automated flows to flag and ban suspicious users
  • Analyze marketing funnels
  • Create data pipelines to ingest and enrich marketing data
  • Automate processes and flows to reduce manual work and improve efficiency
  • Create and evaluate hypotheses about user tendencies and business performance
  • Find opportunities for improvement
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses
  • Develop complex products with high coding standards
  • Maintain infrastructure and handle petabytes of data

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–4 years of experience in an analytical role
  • Good knowledge of SQL
  • Experience working with data modelling, ideally with dbt; SQL is also acceptable
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Looker, Tableau, Qlik, or Grafana
  • Ability to raise and evaluate hypotheses about business performance
  • Experience with automating processes (nice to have)
  • Experience with identifying and combating fraud (nice to have)
