About the role

  • Coordinate internal and external partners such as the NOC and field service to ensure successful customer activations
  • Independently and sustainably resolve complex incidents and issues arising during customer activations
  • Actively shape technical processes and procedures for registering customer devices and commissioning network elements
  • Support day-to-day operations of active network elements to ensure stable network operation
  • Participate in Major Incident Management and promptly remediate critical faults

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, information technology, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
  • (Several years of) professional experience in technical roles within the telecommunications industry or communications engineering
  • Experience in technical customer activation for FTTH networks
  • Ideally practical experience operating active network components in FTTH networks (OLT/ONT) or other fixed-line technologies
  • Solid knowledge of networking technologies and network architectures
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and their application
  • Business-fluent communication in German and English
