About the role
- You analyze internal and external requirements together with the business units, develop viable technical solution concepts from them, and advise stakeholders throughout the entire requirements process, from the problem definition to the creation of user stories.
- You evaluate and prioritize demands based on urgency and value, while continuously keeping stakeholders' interests in mind.
- You coordinate and lead our agile DevOps teams from a domain perspective to ensure efficient and goal-oriented delivery.
- You are responsible for the success of the requirements to be implemented in terms of scope, effort, time, and quality, and you initiate appropriate measures in close coordination with the team and requesters when necessary.
- You actively contribute to the continuous optimization and digitization of the OXG IT landscape and the underlying business processes.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Product Owner, IT project manager, or in a comparable role, ideally with a degree in Business Informatics/Information Systems or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge in designing and enhancing data models, ETL processes, and in analyzing and processing large datasets in cloud environments (AWS).
- Solid knowledge of agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, combined with technical understanding of data flows, interfaces, and ideally SQL/Python skills.
- Strong communication skills: you can convey complex topics clearly and appropriately for the audience, proactively manage expectations, and prepare well-founded decision documents.
- High initiative, strong self-organization and commitment; you work in a structured, strategic way with a focus on what matters. Business-fluent German and English (negotiation-level).
