About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own Oxford Road's internal IT function end-to-end, including infrastructure, endpoints, systems administration, security posture, and IT service delivery
- Manage the IT Support Specialist through performance oversight, day-to-day direction, development, and technical mentorship
- Transition IT management from an outsourced provider to an in-house function by auditing systems and establishing processes and runbooks
- Administer networks, servers, cloud environments, business-critical systems, and SaaS platforms including Salesforce, Qlik, and Tableau
- Monitor systems, manage alerts and incidents, and ensure uptime, performance, and rapid resolution of infrastructure issues
- Own device provisioning, configuration, patching, lifecycle management, MDM/EMM administration, and endpoint compliance
- Manage user provisioning, offboarding, SSO, MFA, directory services, access reviews, and least-privilege access
- Implement IT security policies, endpoint protection, threat monitoring, security audits, vulnerability assessments, and incident response
- Conduct third-party security reviews, review vendor DPAs and security exhibits, maintain the subprocessor inventory, and review SOC 2 reports and bridge letters
- Complete client-facing security questionnaires and manage DPA and MSA security schedules in partnership with Legal and Business Development
- Resolve escalated issues requiring senior technical judgment, security expertise, or infrastructure access
- Provide direct support for executive-level and high-priority issues
- Manage technology vendors, service providers, software licensors, and IT asset inventory
- Evaluate and recommend tools, vendors, and infrastructure changes
- Report infrastructure, security, roadmap, and performance updates to EVP, Operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 or more years of experience in IT systems administration, endpoint management, or a related technical function
- Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring junior IT staff
- Hands-on experience with MDM/EMM platforms such as Jamf, Intune, or equivalent
- Proficiency in identity and access management tools, including SSO, MFA, and directory services such as Okta, Azure AD, or Google Workspace
- Experience administering SaaS platforms in a business environment
- Direct familiarity with Salesforce, Qlik, and Tableau preferred
- Working knowledge of IT security frameworks, endpoint protection, and incident response practices
- Experience building documentation and operational processes while establishing or rebuilding formal IT infrastructure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
