About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Bid and Frameworks Administrator's objectives are to support the Frameworks Coordinator overseeing OPMs portfolio of Framework Umbrella's and call downs released under them.
  • The position of the Bid and Frameworks Administrator is responsible for supporting OPMs Frameworks team and bidding efforts across the project cycle - from prepositioning monitoring to supporting Expressions of Interest and Tenders through to tracking Frameworks through mobilization and closedown.
  • The role works across all staff and offices within OPM, liaising between our practice consulting teams and our functional business units to ensure each adhere to our and clients requirements and key processes.
  • Monitoring call downs released by clients, tracking bidding opportunities and interest from our consulting staff, maintaining bidding and project data for our frameworks.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Education to degree level in a subject relevant to OPM’s work desirable
  • Research skills desirable
  • Knowledge and experience of the international development business would be desirable.
  • Flexibility to cope with several tasks simultaneously to agreed deadlines
  • Pro-active & flexible approach to work: ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent organization & administrative skills with strong attention to detail, strong time management / prioritization skills & evidence of previous experience
  • Experience of budgeting would be desirable
  • MS Office, particularly advanced levels of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Written skills including ability to summarize complex documents
  • High standard of both written and spoken English
  • Editing and proof-reading skills & high level of accuracy
  • Professional with strong communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
