About the role
- Identify and collate relevant national and subnational health data, reports, and key documents.
- Support qualitative and document review activities in French or Portuguese, as required, and contribute to English-language reporting.
- Engage and coordinate with the Ministry of Health and other relevant national stakeholders to facilitate data collection and validation.
- Contribute to project deliverables, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with project objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in public health, epidemiology, social sciences, environmental health, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working in the health sector, particularly in data collection, policy research, or health systems strengthening.
- Proven ability to identify, collate, and analyse health data and policy documents.
- Strong working relationships with the Ministry of Health and other relevant national stakeholders.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French or Portuguese, with the ability to conduct interviews and review documents in one language and produce written reports in English.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and proactively while collaborating effectively with remote, multidisciplinary teams.
