• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and seasonality to identify patterns and anomalies.
• Inventory Planning: Collaborate with supply chain teams to align inventory levels with forecasted demand.
• Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Participate in monthly S&OP meetings to present forecast insights and align on business strategies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing to understand promotional impacts and new product launches.
• System & Process Optimization: Utilize ERP and forecasting systems to streamline planning processes.
• Promotional Planning: Evaluate the impact of marketing campaigns and promotions on demand forecasts.
• New Product Forecasting: Develop demand plans for new product introductions based on market research and historical analogs.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risk to demand plans and develop mitigation strategies.
• Performance Metrics & Continuous Improvement: Track forecast accuracy and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
