About the role
- Global DTC Strategy & Partnership: Responsible for scaling a global DTC P&L, with a focus on achieving significant growth across US, UK, AU, CA and international markets
- Performance Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing performance team to analyze conversion rates (CRO), A/B testing results, and digital customer journeys. Use these insights to inform inventory planning, promotional timing, and overall site merchandising strategy. Lead the DTC roadmap for A/B testing (using A/B testing platforms) to improve checkout flow, reduce cart abandonment, and optimize mobile-first UX. Collaborate with Supply Chain to manage 'Weeks of Supply' (WOS) for DTC, ensuring high-velocity SKUs remain in stock while strategically clearing aging inventory through strategic marketing initiatives.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Own sales forecasting, financial planning, and P&L management for the Global DTC channel. Deliver detailed performance reports and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.Build and maintain weekly 'Bottoms-Up' sales forecasts, tracking performance against daily revenue targets and adjusting promotional spend in real-time.
- Paid Media Strategy & Acquisition: Direct the strategic oversight of paid media to drive DTC revenue targets. You will partner with performance marketing teams to optimize acquisition budgets across Paid media channels holding accountability for efficiency metrics (CAC, ROAS) and traffic quality. This function requires leveraging data-driven insights to adjust media spend in real-time, ensuring that paid media investments are driving to efficient outcomes that ultimately ladder up to the revenue targets.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the primary liaison between DTC Sales and cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment on product launches, inventory, promotional strategies, and customer service initiatives.
- Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze key market trends, competitive activity, and shifts in consumer behavior to identify new market opportunities and inform joint go-to-market strategies with Marketing.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with regional sales teams to ensure DTC strategies complement and enhance retail channel performance, proactively managing any potential channel conflict.
- Tool & System Management: Utilize and optimize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, BI platforms), and e-commerce platforms to drive data-informed sales decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a high-growth DTC environment with a heavy focus on Shopify Plus or enterprise-level e-commerce platforms.
- Utilize and optimize our core tech stack, including Shopify Plus, Google Analytics 4, Klaviyo, CRO platforms, and more, to drive data-informed sales and marketing decisions.
- Lead the localization and optimization of DTC storefronts across multiple currencies and languages (e.g., North America, DACH, UK, AU, etc.), overseeing regional strategies and international logistics.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, focused on achieving aggressive sales quotas.
- Direct experience managing international DTC businesses, localized storefronts, and international 3PL coordination.
- Proven track record of significantly growing revenue and coordinating strategy with Marketing or Digital teams.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, and using e-commerce/BI tools.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with cross-functional teams on digital marketing and user experience strategies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and strategies to senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Paid Media Leadership: Proven experience managing media budgets and directing agency partners or internal performance teams across major ad platforms (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok) to drive profitable customer acquisition.
- Bonus Skills (Nice to Have): Experience in the Baby Care, Consumer Electronics, or MedTech/Health industry. Knowledge of global payment processing, localization, and international shipping/logistics for e-commerce. Experience managing Amazon or other major global marketplace accounts.
