About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive volume-based sales growth across PRO customers, with a focus on retail partners such as The Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Menards.
  • Generate and manage large-volume quotes (LVQs), ensuring timely, accurate responses that support conversion and revenue growth.
  • Partner with internal sales teams and external account representatives to identify opportunities, build pipelines, and close deals.
  • Support and train sales team members on best practices for identifying, developing, and closing PRO business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to support long-term growth and repeat business.
  • Act as a central point of coordination across internal and external partners to ensure alignment, communication, and execution throughout the sales process.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and refine strategies.
  • Participate in customer meetings, job site visits, and business reviews to align solutions with customer needs and reinforce relationships.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights on pipeline performance, quote activity, and conversion rates.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the PRO sales process.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2–5 years of sales, account management, or business development experience
  • Experience working with retail partners or PRO customer segments preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and close sales opportunities, including managing quote-driven or volume-based sales processes.
  • Experience working across multiple locations or markets in a field-based or regional capacity.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage internal teams, customers, and external partners.
  • Ability to analyze data and use insights to inform sales strategies and decision-making.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey value clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in building materials, construction, or related industries preferred.
  • Experience working with contractors, remodelers, or job site environments.
