About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and develop a U.S. field sales organization, including direct and indirect teams
- Build deep customer and market understanding to deliver differentiated value propositions
- Partner with national and regional customers to drive profitable revenue growth and share gain
- Develop and execute sales strategies in collaboration with marketing, product, and cross‑functional partners
- Provide insight on market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and economic conditions
- Drive sales productivity through clear goals, KPIs, and performance accountability
- Lead annual sales planning aligned with both short‑term priorities and long‑term strategy
- Make key decisions related to pricing, channels, investments, and customer‑facing initiatives
- Attract, develop, and retain top sales talent through coaching, performance management, and succession planning
- Champion Owens Corning values related to safety, ethics, and integrity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales and/or account management
- Proven experience leading sales, marketing, or commercial teams (directly or through influence)
- Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen, including pricing and margin management
- Strategic mindset with the ability to execute through teams
- Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels
- Experience operating across geographies and market conditions
- Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time
- Ability to live near a major U.S. airport
