About the role
- Ensures a safe and environmentally compliant workplace where safety is the first priority
- Reports and investigates injuries, first aids and near misses
- Utilizes technical knowledge to provide a safe and secure work environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors
- Understands and communicates customer expectations and Critical Product Characteristics to employees
- Partners with Product Technical Leaders to develop Product Specifications that are achievable and capable in manufacturing
- Supports trials for new and existing products to ensure they meet customer fitness for use
- Coordinates upstream and downstream processes to meet production demands
- Supports the TPM process through Daily Management and participation on AM area or Pillar Teams
- Performs root cause analysis in partnership with key stakeholders to address quality issues
- Leads Continuous Improvement Activities
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience in root cause analysis
- Proven results in driving product and process improvement in the manufacturing environment
