About the role
- Provide a safe and secure work environment for all employees, contractors and visitors

- Participates in work area self-inspections and accident investigations as well as recommends corrective actions to make the workplace safer
- Identify, lead, and implement process improvements and new process development
- Participate in the scope development and execution of all capital projects, to ensure safety, performance, schedule and cost goals of the projects are met or exceeded
- Develop, evaluate, improve and document manufacturing processes / controls
- Lead Quality organization to meet or exceed plant Quality goals. Ensure all PPAPs and other customer requirements are completed in timely manner.
- Create and sustain a culture where talent is developed through effective performance management and talent evaluation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive technical experience in a manufacturing environment
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience leading people
- Ability to engage and care for others starting with safety
- Maintenance and Reliability management to include maintenance management software
- Computer skills: The ability to utilize Owens Corning systems and the software necessary for this role
- Utilizing data and data collection systems, and Six Sigma methods for problem-solving and decision-making to eliminate manufacturing losses and unnecessary costs
- Strategic Plan implementation
- Impactful verbal and written communications
- Business and financial acumen
- Strong planning, resourcing and delegation skills
- SPC (Statistical Process Control) knowledge a plus
- Management of capital delivery
- Knowledge of Quality System, Quality assurance and Quality Control methodologies
