About the role
- Oversee all aspects of Purchasing, Inventory Management, Logistics, and Distribution
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain performance
- Lead all transactional functions: customer service, production control & scheduling, shipping & receiving, warehouse management, and inventory control
- Collaborate closely with the Plant Leader to enhance purchasing systems
- Drive a results-oriented culture focused on data and accountability
- Manage departmental budgets and cost control
- Ensure compliance with customer supply chain scorecards
- Foster cross-functional collaboration
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering preferred
- Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience accepted
- CPM, SCM, or SPSM certification highly desirable
- Minimum 5 years in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
- Strong background in CPFR, financial forecasting, inventory management, and customer service
- Experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, and supply chain finance
- Proven ability to manage multiple departments in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with Kaizen, 5-S, and wood product manufacturing preferred
