About the role
- Own the user experience: You will fully own the design outcomes of the product(s) that you and your team are working on. We’ll agree on what success looks like, and it will be totally up to you to figure out the best user flows and interfaces across web and mobile to make that happen.
- Lead design discovery: You will spend a significant amount of time with users digging into their pain points, testing new prototypes, and combing through qualitative and quantitative data to identify design opportunities.
- Translate insights into interfaces: Turn user and data findings into clear user journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI components tailored for both responsive web and our React Native mobile app.
- Execute: Work hands-on with product managers and engineers to deliver high-quality, user-friendly features on time, ensuring technical constraints are balanced with user needs and cross-platform design guidelines.
- Measure impact: Track how users interact with your designs, validate usability post-launch, and iterate based on real-world feedback and metrics.
- Act as the bridge: Align internal teams around the user experience, fostering a feedback-rich environment and maintaining our cohesive, cutting-edge visual language across all touchpoints.
- Champion the user: Advocate for solutions that create a satisfying, accessible, and intuitive experience for our users, helping them solve their problems in an effective and efficient way—whether they are at a desk or managing inventory on the go via our app.
