Key responsibilities & impact

Define and execute the long-term development strategy for our enterprise software solutions organization-wide.
Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team of developers and analysts, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
Oversee the continued optimization of our Workday and Salesforce environments, ensuring seamless integrations and high-value data output.
Pioneer the adoption of AI agents and LLM prompting (e.g., Gemini) to automate workflows and enhance decision-making across the organization.
Establish organization-wide software governance to mitigate risk, eliminate data silos, and maximize the ROI of our technology investments.
Manage complex capital and expense budgets, prioritizing initiatives that align with Perkins’ global mission.
Partner with C-suite leadership to align IT initiatives with business objectives, acting as a technical influencer across the NGO.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 15 years of proven experience in software and application development with a track record of managing teams in a fast paced environment.
Expertise in infrastructure management to support robust, scalable application environments.
Demonstrated success with Workday (preferred), SAP, or NetSuite.
Deep experience optimizing the Salesforce ecosystem.
Practical familiarity with AI prompting and building agents to solve real-world business problems.
Expert-level knowledge of integrating disparate systems (CRM, ERP, Cloud Services) and managing cloud infrastructure.
Mastery of both Agile and Waterfall development frameworks.
The ability to translate complex technical jargon into a clear vision for a global non-profit organization.
