Data Engineer

• Lead the design and evolution of our core data architecture across transactional, analytical, and long-term storage systems.
• Own and improve PostgreSQL data design, schema structure, indexing strategy, query performance, relationships, constraints, and data integrity.
• Design, review, and maintain ERDs and data models that clearly represent business logic, system behavior, and domain relationships.
• Work closely with backend engineers to ensure application data models are scalable, consistent, and suitable for both operational and analytical use cases.
• Build and improve data pipelines from production systems into analytics databases and reporting layers.
• Design reliable approaches for data ingestion, replication, transformation, validation, rollups, aggregations, and historical storage.
• Help define the right architecture for hot, warm, and cold data storage.
• Support the design of analytics-friendly datasets for reporting, dashboards, product analytics, finance, compliance, and operational monitoring.
• Help evolve our analytics database strategy, including how we use analytical stores, materialised views, denormalised tables, and aggregation layers.
• Establish data modeling best practices across the engineering team.
• Identify and fix data quality issues, including inconsistent schemas, duplicated logic, missing relationships, poor naming, and unreliable reporting sources.
• Collaborate with backend, product, DevOps, and leadership teams to turn business requirements into clean, scalable data structures.
• Define best practices for migrations, data retention, archival, backfills, and safe deletion of production data.
• Mentor engineers on database design, ERDs, data modeling, and data pipeline thinking.

Data Platform Lead

Engineer

• Integrate fiat payment methods (cards, bank transfers, e-wallets, local payment rails) through payment service providers, gateways, and aggregators
• Build and operate core money-handling flows: deposits, withdrawals, refunds, payouts, chargebacks, and settlement
• Design and develop ledger and balance-tracking systems that keep money movement accurate and auditable
• Guarantee transactional integrity across distributed systems — idempotency, consistency, exactly-once processing, and safe retries
• Handle PSP webhooks, callbacks, and asynchronous status updates, including reconciliation against provider records
• Build and optimize scalable, low-latency Node.js services supporting high-throughput transactional workloads
• Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of payment APIs
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, risk/fraud, finance, and other engineers to ship end-to-end payment features
• Contribute to best practices across code quality, testing, CI/CD, and deployment, and share payments domain knowledge with the team

Payments Engineer

Frontend Engineer

• Build and improve high-quality frontend features across the Over99 webapp and games surfaces.
• Work with React, Vue 3, TypeScript, Vite, and modern frontend tooling to deliver fast, reliable user experiences.
• Own frontend implementation for interactive product flows across wallets, balances, gameplay, account features, promotions, and real-time updates.
• Collaborate with engineers on frontend architecture, reusable components, state management, and performance optimization.
• Build and refine real-time client-server features using technologies like Socket.IO, WebSockets, and event-driven updates.
• Contribute to game-facing frontend experiences involving animations, sound, timing, physics, and responsive interaction patterns.
• Partner closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA to deliver polished end-to-end features.
• Use Cursor IDE, LLMs, and AI-assisted coding workflows heavily as part of day-to-day engineering, including MCP-powered integrations and custom tooling on top of Cursor.
• Use observability practices and tools like Datadog to understand frontend health, debug production issues, and improve user impact.
• Write maintainable, tested code and contribute to code reviews, CI/CD workflows, and team engineering standards.
• Mentor less experienced engineers through thoughtful reviews, pairing, technical guidance, and strong examples of ownership.

Mid/Senior Frontend Engineer

• Build and improve high-quality frontend features across the Over99 webapp and games surfaces.
• Work with React, Vue 3, TypeScript, Vite, and modern frontend tooling to deliver fast, reliable user experiences.
• Help build interactive product flows for wallets, balances, gameplay, account features, promotions, and real-time updates.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on frontend architecture, reusable components, state management, and performance optimization.
