About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive community outcomes by positioning OutSystems as the solution for SLED agencies
- Manage complex sales cycles and lead a team of Solution Architects and Customer Success resources
- Build and leverage relationships with SLED-focused System Integrators and Channel Partners
- Develop and execute sophisticated account and territory plans
- Navigate State/Local procurement vehicles and budget cycles
- Champion innovation and agile development in compliance with security requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–10+ years of experience in direct software or SaaS sales focused on State & Local Government or Higher Education
- Proven history of exceeding sales targets and closing multi-year enterprise deals
- Deep understanding of funding streams and the mission of local agencies
- Experience establishing relationships with State CIOs and Department Directors
- Collaborative mindset working with internal and external specialists
