About the role

  • Analyze the current Jira and Confluence setup to identify bottlenecks, technical debt, and architectural flaws.
  • Design and implement a governance strategy to prevent "customization bloat" and ensure system performance remains high.
  • Act as your own "Product Owner" for the internal tools stack, roadmapping upgrades, consolidations, and future improvements.
  • Architect integrations between Jira/Confluence and our remaining tools.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues on already existing automations and spaces.
  • Mentor power users across the organization, teaching them best practices so they can be self-sufficient without breaking the system.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of technical experience managing Atlassian products (Jira & Confluence) in an enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge in the use of ScriptRunner (Groovy).
  • Ability to see the "big picture."
  • Experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, and integrating Jira with monitoring/observability tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) certifications are a strong asset.
