About the role
- Assist in strategic planning initiatives by providing financial due diligence, ROI analysis, and scenario modeling for potential investments, projects, or business changes.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on specific operational performance topics and propose actionable solutions.
- Partner with operational teams to understand their financial needs and translate business metrics into financial implications.
- Track the implementation of cost-saving initiatives and measure their impact on financial indicators.
- Collaborate with departments to identify revenue generating and cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare presentations and supporting materials for internal and external stakeholders, summarizing financial results and recommendations.
- Communicate financial insights and key metrics clearly and concisely to various stakeholders across the organization.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial data and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 2-4 years of progressive experience in finance, preferably in a SaaS company.
- Solid understanding of P&L components, unit economics, and SaaS metrics.
- Finance minded with strong operational focus to drive process, systems, and execution in a scalable and repeatable way.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis, including simplifying and distilling complex business information into actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
