About the role
- Research and write high-quality blog posts and SEO-optimised content using a combination of research, creativity, and AI-assisted tools.
- Create and manage Digital PR content to earn backlinks and increase domain authority.
- Use SEMRush and Ahrefs to support keyword strategy and content optimisation.
- Collaborate with the SEO team on content calendars, topic ideation, and competitive research.
- Develop and schedule organic social media posts (LinkedIn, Meta, etc.) in line with client tone and goals.
- Use AI tools where appropriate to brainstorm ideas or improve clarity and flow — always ensuring a natural, human voice.
- Monitor engagement and assist in compiling monthly performance insights.
- Write and refine ad copy for Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns.
- Support the creative testing process (A/B ad variations, headlines, CTAs).
- Ensure ad content is aligned with campaign strategy and brand positioning.
- Update and manage client assets in Trello, Slack, and Google Workspace.
- Design simple visual assets in Canva (social tiles, banners, thumbnails).
- Coordinate approvals, ensure deadlines are met, and maintain organised task boards.
- Work collaboratively with the team to continuously improve processes and content efficiency through responsible AI use.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in content, digital marketing, or social media roles.
- Strong writing and editing skills for blogs, SEO copy, and social media content.
- Experience with: Trello, Slack, Google Workspace, LinkedIn, Meta Business Suite, Notion, HubSpot
- Working knowledge or comfort with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT)
- Previous experience in an agency environment (nice-to-have).
- Understanding of SEO principles and keyword optimisation (nice-to-have).
- Familiarity with Google Ads, Canva, WordPress, MailChimp, SEMRush, Ahrefs (nice-to-have).
- Understanding of content analytics (GA4, Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics) (nice-to-have).
