About the role

  • Ensure experiences are reliable, performant, accessible, instrumentable and scalable
  • Work closely with platform designers and platform product managers to shape Outreach experience
  • Own features from design to implementation and interact with other teams
  • Exposure to and involvement in front-end application deployments and platform-level capabilities
  • Partner with platform product managers, platform designers, and analysts to understand platform needs and build solutions
  • Work with frontend platform core (Design system and core packages), pipelines, instrumentation and more
  • Set direction for the team and help guide engineering vision
  • Prototype and test solutions to large problems
  • Evaluate stack-level tradeoffs to maximize return on investment
  • Mentor engineers, participate in hiring, and drive new initiatives
  • Own relationships with other engineering teams and collaborate across functions

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional software development experience
  • Previous success developing and shipping large-scale web applications and skilled with web technologies including Javascript/Typescript, HTML, CSS, and React (or framework of your choice)
  • Optional Exposure with cloud-based service applications and shipping production quality code in Java, Go or C++
  • Familiarity working with build tools related to bundling, graphql, runners
  • Proven track record of senior technical leadership at a company with a strong engineering culture
  • Strong knowledge of shipping impactful and complex software projects
  • Ability to set technical and cultural standards for engineers
