About the role
- Develop and manage the global tradeshow and sponsorship calendar, ensuring alignment with business priorities, target personas, and goals.
- Evaluate and recommend event opportunities based on strategic fit, target audience, and ROI potential.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define event objectives, success metrics, and messaging strategies.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to integrate tradeshow activity into broader campaign initiatives and regional plans.
- Support broader marketing events and campaigns beyond tradeshows, including customer summits, field events, SKO, and roadshows.
- Oversee all aspects of tradeshow participation, including booth design and production, shipping logistics, staffing, and on-site coordination.
- Manage sponsorship deliverables, ensuring all benefits are tracked, fulfilled, and optimized for maximum visibility and engagement.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure all logistics, assets, and messaging are delivered on time and within budget.
- Lead on-site setup, execution, and teardown for major events as needed, maintaining brand standards and operational excellence.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost control, and reconciliation.
- Source and manage relationships with exhibit houses, event organizers, production vendors, and other partners.
- Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes in partnership with the Finance and Legal teams.
- Partner with Event Operations and Marketing Operations to ensure seamless lead capture, routing, and attribution.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and present insights and recommendations to improve future programs.
- Maintain a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven analysis and feedback loops.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience managing tradeshows, sponsorships, or large-scale events within a B2B or SaaS organization.
- Proven experience managing large-scale events and sponsorships (domestic and international) that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with a track record of delivering multiple programs simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Deep understanding of lead capture, attribution, pipeline metrics, and event ROI modeling.
- Excellent cross-functional communicator who can influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Skilled in vendor negotiation, budgeting, and operational execution.
- Proficient in Salesforce, Asana, and event platforms such as Splash, Bizzabo, or Cvent.
- Comfortable analyzing data to measure success and drive decision-making.
- Willing to travel (up to 35%) to support on-site execution and vendor meetings.
