💰 $92,400 - $115,500 per year

About the role

  • Primary user for Raw Material Optimization software (slab cost modeling).
  • Designs, updates, and maintains inventory reports using spreadsheet/database software such as Excel, Access, Microsoft Office, and internal web based reporting programs.
  • Updates report formats as needed, including month end closing, sales forecast consumption report and Raw Material Stocks.
  • Monitor and provide feedback to suppliers on the quality received and submit respective reports to all involved parties.
  • Responsibilities specifically aligned with specific departmental objectives and area of expertise.
  • Keep up to date with the current market trends and industry forecasts.
  • Provide recommendations and suggestions for improvements in any aspects relating to increased performance.
  • Optimizing operational processes and procedures for maximum efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
  • Tracking and reporting on operational performance for the Americas & Global Raw Materials.
  • Interacting with internal and external customers and suppliers, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Assisting with the implementation of new processes and procedures.
  • Promote safety culture and ensure all safety, environmental, and ergonomic requirements are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in a relevant business field is preferred.
  • Proven >5 years of experience responsible of designing, updating, and maintaining raw materials inventory reports.
  • Domain of forecasting tools or statistical methods to predict raw material consumption.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling etc).
  • Analytics & visualization presentation tools as PowerBI.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Experience working under pressure on multiple projects within your project timeframes.
  • Experienced in using financial insights to recommend process improvements.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Experience in Operational Process environment.
  • Basic understanding of metal melting process is a plus.
