About the role

  • Develop and lead the short- and long-term Asset Management and Manufacturing Excellence strategy at Outokumpu Avesta
  • Develop and implement a multi-year (>3 years) Asset Management and investment plan aligned with Outokumpu’s strategic objectives
  • Ensure lifecycle planning and risk-based Asset Management for all physical assets
  • Act as a key advisor in investment and decision-making processes related to facilities and projects
  • Drive initiatives to stabilize and develop critical process lines and ensure sustainable improvements
  • Monitor and report results, progress, and KPIs to site management

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering or equivalent technical/financial background
  • Experience from leadership roles within Asset Management, maintenance, investments, or the manufacturing industry
  • Experience in change management within complex and preferably global organizations
  • Strong understanding of Lean, Manufacturing Excellence, and structured improvement methodologies
  • Project management experience with responsibility for budget, quality, and results
  • Solid financial understanding
