About the role
- Manage day-to-day production planning and scheduling for CRW, CVT, ensuring timely and accurate plans.
- Collaborate with the S&OP team to align short-term production plans with overall business and supply chain strategies.
- Monitor and adjust planning parameters to maintain optimal inventory levels and meet customer delivery commitments.
- Validate feasibility of production plans based on mill capacity and operational constraints.
- Act as a key contact for order fulfillment issues and coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve planning conflicts.
- Track and report on relevant KPIs such as inventory levels, delivery performance, and schedule adherence.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes and contribute to implementing demand-driven planning practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
- 5 plus years of experience in production planning or scheduling within manufacturing environments.
- Experience with metallurgical or heavy industry processes preferred.
- Strong understanding of production planning principles and supply chain processes.
- Ability to analyze data and make decisions to balance supply and demand effectively.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in planning tools and ERP systems.
