About the role

  • Processing and allocating supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner, including managing cases on external supplier portals
  • Supporting payment runs and ensuring all payables obligations are met in line with agreed timelines
  • Managing incoming finance queries and correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate responses
  • Supporting expense management processes, including review and approval of employee expense reports
  • Assisting with accounts receivable tasks such as customer invoicing, payment follow-up, and overdue account reporting
  • Maintaining internal finance trackers and supporting ad hoc reporting requirements
  • Supporting the full month-end close cycle, ensuring all supplier invoices are processed and payables are up to date
  • Performing accounts payable accruals and assisting with the allocation of operating costs across departments
  • Preparing journal entries, including amortisation entries, and maintaining accurate accrued expense records
  • Carrying out reconciliations of company spend management tools and ensuring accurate bookkeeping
  • Conducting periodic cost reviews across relevant cost categories to support financial control
  • Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the cashflow report
  • Supporting the Finance team on banking and treasury projects, including process improvements and cash management initiatives
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations and helping to maintain accurate records of cash positions
  • Liaising with banking partners and internal stakeholders as required to support treasury operations

Requirements

  • We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and eager to develop their career in finance within a fast-paced, international SaaS environment. You don't need to have done everything yet — but you should be curious, proactive, and ready to learn.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Some experience or exposure to financial accounting, accounts payable/receivable, or a similar function — whether through work, internships, or studies
  • Familiarity with accounting concepts such as accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • A collaborative mindset — you enjoy working with people across teams and functions
  • Nice to have: Experience working with tools such as NetSuite, Spendesk or similar finance/ERP systems
  • Familiarity with procurement portals (e.g., Ariba, Coupa)
  • Experience in a SaaS or tech company environment
