About the role
- Define and own the enterprise architecture vision and roadmap, aligning technology strategy with business objectives.
- Partner with C-level executives and senior stakeholders to guide investment decisions and ensure technical strategies deliver measurable business value.
- Establish governance models, frameworks, and architectural standards to ensure consistency across all projects.
- Lead the design of complex, multi-domain architectures across cloud, data, and application layers.
- Champion architecture modernization – including cloud migration, microservices adoption, and automation strategies.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Serve as a thought leader in solution architecture – creating new methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Drive architectural innovation by incubating new concepts and evaluating their impact on scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- Oversee architectural reviews, ensuring technical integrity and alignment with long-term strategy.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to deliver cohesive and high-impact solutions.
- Translate abstract business challenges into clear, actionable architectural blueprints.
- Act as a trusted advisor to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor and coach senior and mid-level Solution Architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Lead architecture forums, technical councils, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Inspire and guide technical teams toward achieving excellence and operational maturity.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Solution Architecture or equivalent senior technical leadership roles.
- Proven experience defining and executing enterprise-wide architecture strategies in complex, distributed environments.
- Deep expertise in cloud computing (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP a plus).
- Strong background in microservices architecture, API design, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Demonstrated experience in driving digital transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption, automation, and scalability optimization.
- Mastery of multiple technical domains: software development, infrastructure, DevOps, and security architecture.
- Exceptional communication and influence skills, with a proven ability to engage executives and align diverse technical teams.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary architecture teams and mentoring senior engineers.
- Understanding of enterprise integration patterns, compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA), and architecture governance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP Architect Professional, TOGAF) strongly preferred.
