Execute Order Fulfillment: Coordinate the movement of material for sales and purchase orders, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries
Manage Shipping Logistics: Arrange trucks, containers, and freight for domestic and export shipments
Maintain Documentation: Prepare and organize shipping paperwork with accuracy
Build Carrier Relationships: Communicate effectively with carriers and service providers to ensure reliable service
Monitor Performance: Track key metrics like pickup delays and identify opportunities for improvement
Solve Problems Proactively: Anticipate potential shipping issues and work with the Operations team to develop solutions
Support Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas for reducing costs and increasing efficiency as you learn the business

Requirements

What you’ll need

Coachable self-starter with strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
1-3 years of experience in tech startups, logistics, and/or operations
Basic understanding of shipping documentation and carrier coordination or willingness to learn
Strong communication and organizational skills
Able to learn new systems quickly
Bonus: Familiarity with scrap metal or recyclables logistics
