About the role
- Collaborate with various departments to create creative and informative content that engages members of our Community.
- Create advertisements, with headlines from the creative writing team, for potential sponsors of our organization.
- Create designs including, but not limited to book covers, infographics, logos, fliers, graphics for video projects, etc.
- Communicate with the CEO, COO, and Director of Marketing professionally about designs, necessary layouts and content, timelines and ideas.
Requirements
- Interest in Graphic Design or working towards a degree in Graphic Design and/or related fields
- Knowledge of basic editing software such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva etc. required
- Responsive, consistent, and effective communicator, even during conflict
- Ability to work remotely and on their own schedule in order to make deadlines
- Ability to attend the weekly Organization-Wide meetings
- Ability to attend weekly Media team meetings
- Must be authorized to intern in the U.S.
