• Maintain the 501(c)(3) status and ensure full compliance with Delaware state and US federal regulations.
• Coordinate Board of Directors meetings, including preparing agendas, assembling board materials, and drafting official meeting minutes.
• Act as the primary liaison with external legal counsel and accounting firms to ensure timely filing of tax returns (e.g., Form 990).
• Oversee State Charitable Solicitation Registrations and renewals to support US-based fundraising compliance.
• Liaise with payroll provider to ensure smooth payroll processing for US-based staff.
• Provide basic HR and immigration support administration (e.g., tracking visa statuses, coordinating with immigration counsel if necessary).
• Provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to the CEO and one US-based Fundraiser.
• Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, and basic travel logistics where required.
• Assist the fundraiser with administrative tasks related to donor tracking or grant compliance documentation.

• Ensure smooth day-to-day technical operations and reliable systems maintenance
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and systems-related issues
• Maintain core organisational systems and platforms
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify operational risks or inefficiencies
• Assist with user access management and permissions across systems
• Support improvements to internal workflows and operational efficiency.

• Develop a clear view of the South African partner and stakeholder landscape.
• Build and manage relationships with relevant government stakeholders and public institutions.
• Identify and build relationships with trusted local organisations and community-facing structures.
• Work with the Executive Director and wider team to identify practical opportunities for pilots, partnerships, convenings, campaigns, or community-facing initiatives.
• Provide insight into the external landscape, including shifts in government priorities and public sentiment.
