About the role
- Manage the US Accounts Payable ledger for the US and Canada businesses
- Oversee the US Accounts Payable team to process and pay supplier invoices
- Partner with business associates to resolve invoice discrepancies
- Ensure invoices are processed and paid in a timely and accurate manner
- Approve and ensure the accuracy of vendor account setup and maintenance
- Drive efficiency and productivity by assigning work based on metrics
- Develop team members to assist OUP associates clearing invoices on hold
- Research billing discrepancies in a timely manner
Requirements
- 7-10 years of Accounts Payable experience
- 3-5 years working in a management function
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and workload management skills
- Focus on accuracy and detail
- Business partnering and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interact professionally with vendors and associates
- Experience using SAP preferred but not essential.
