About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, onboard, train, manage, and develop clinic managers across multiple markets
Drive organizational vision, purpose, mission, values, and DEI commitments
Ensure leaders develop their teams, implement development plans, conduct robust 1:1s, and build a strong talent bench
Maintain communication flows between clinic teams and the broader organization
Maintain regular onsite presence in assigned markets and periodically travel to new and existing markets
Manage day-to-day clinical operations across multiple markets, including service line performance, staffing, clinic operations, inventory management, and patient experience
Drive team engagement, patient experience, access, capacity, and financial sustainability metrics
Create work schedules, monthly clinic schedules, and clinician on-call schedules with clinical leadership
Drive adoption of Oula’s operating model, meeting structures, management routines, performance reviews, communication cadences, and operational processes
Roll out and implement new policies and procedures across patient touchpoints
Partner with the VP of Market Operations and central teams to create and optimize processes and workflows
Liaise between market operations and central teams to execute organizational initiatives locally
Manage third-party vendor relationships, including labs, clinical suppliers, prescription and vaccine suppliers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be based in New York
5+ years of operations experience
5+ years in a management role hiring, onboarding, managing, and motivating team members
Prior experience managing a healthcare facility; multi-site management required
Experience getting into the weeds of different processes
Intermediate computer skills
Ability to advocate for business needs and share ideas through thoughtful spreadsheets and presentations
Track record of defining KPIs, setting goals, and exceeding them
Passion for improving maternity care and scaling a tech-enabled service
Ability to collaborate with clinicians and patient experience support teammates
Ability to identify issues and develop solutions
Ability to translate feedback into meaningful team experiments
Empathy and emotional awareness of patient and team member needs
Metrics-driven approach
