- Manage the day-to-day clinical operations of the department
- Maintain nursing practice standards
- Uphold the nursing code of ethics
- Ensure the highest quality of safe patient care delivery

- Develop and update performance improvement tools
- Resolve patient complaints

- Serve as a representative for the OU Health nursing body

- Manage selection, retention, and performance of the team
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
- Master's in Nursing preferred
- 3 to 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience required (Charge Nurse, Educator or other leadership development preparation)
- Current Registered Nurse License (RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact Registered Nurse (eNLC)) with established residency within 6 months
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required upon hire
- Nursing specialty or leadership certification(s) preferred
