About the role
- Assist in the development, support and functionality roll out of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Optimize workflow processes through building applications tailored to organizations’ needs
- Provide day-to-day technical support to end-users
- Perform routine maintenance tasks for system stability and security
- Participate in testing and validation of system changes
- Assist in configuring and customizing the EHR system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support EHR initiatives
- Maintain documentation of system configurations and support issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 0 - 3 years of applicable IT or healthcare experience required
- Epic certification required within three months of class completion or 6 months of hire
- Analytical, organization, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within teams
- Ability to solve problems and understand customer needs
- Understanding of healthcare business process and technology
- Understanding of healthcare workflows and terminology
- Strong desktop tool usage including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
