About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI programs, from ideation and prioritization through delivery and continuous improvement.
- Partner with executive leadership to define AI strategy, roadmap, and measurable business outcomes.
- Translate complex AI concepts into actionable program plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Establish governance frameworks, success metrics, and reporting mechanisms across AI initiatives.
- Drive planning, scheduling, and execution of AI and technology initiatives.
- Ensure delivery within scope, timeline, and budget constraints.
- Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and operational challenges.
- Implement scalable processes and best practices for AI program management.
- Support the responsible and ethical use of AI systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and organizational standards.
- Promote transparency, fairness, and accountability in AI initiatives.
- Directly manage and develop a team of interns and/or project leads.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management to drive team effectiveness and growth.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
- Allocate resources and prioritize work across multiple AI programs.
- Partner with data science, information technology, engineering, marketing, product, finance, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders to prioritize and drive business results.
- Facilitate alignment between technical and non-technical teams.
- Navigate ambiguity and drive decision-making across competing priorities.
- Support and maintain a positive safety culture by being an active leader in all safety program initiatives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in technical program management, including in data or AI-related environments, is required.
- Previous experience in a mentor, supervisor, lead, or manager role is required.
- Agile experience and certifications strongly preferred.
- Lean/Six Sigma experience and/or certification is a plus.
- PMP, CAPM, or CSM certification is a plus.
