About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with Executive Leadership Team and Otter Products Board to align Operations strategies for company growth and profitability and improve overall organizational performance
  • Establish, communicate, and execute the strategic vision for supply chain and integrate these initiatives cross-functionally
  • Advise executives on supply chain resources and demands to ensure we are meeting customer demands, time to market deliverables, and quality initiatives
  • Provide exceptional leadership and act as a thought-leader for Otter Products Operations Leadership Team
  • Responsible for performance of all distribution centers, warehouses, and manufacturing sites
  • Evaluate existing processes across multiple functional areas and develop performance improvements
  • Track and report on operating results to ensure consistent progress towards achieving organizational goal
  • Ensure cost-effective measures are in place and implement cost reduction strategies to ensure various cost-saving initiatives are being taken advantage of to reduce costs in our overall supply base
  • Manage time to market deliverables for the company and ensure deliverables are being met at all levels within supply chain
  • Accountable for ensuring that optimal inventory levels are always managed
  • Direct all global vendor and supplier negotiations and relationships, ensuring supplier performance expectations are being met at all times
  • Direct multiple supply chain initiatives in a fast paced, high-volume, continuously changing environment
  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by being an active leader in all safety program initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA is preferred
  • Minimum of fifteen years of experience within Supply Chain, Logistics, and Distribution Operations including multinational experience
  • At least two years in a director level role, or above, is required
  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is required
  • Experience with injection molding combination products is highly preferred
  • APICS or Supply Chain Certification is preferred
