About the role

  • Provide technical engineering assistance in support of product focused projects
  • Work with cross functional teams
  • May use Computer Aided Design (CAD) or other design software and/or Excel to document process
  • Apply basics of engineering to analyze and solve technical problems
  • Support engineering teams with special projects as needed
  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in (preferably at the Junior level or higher) or recently completed (within 1 year) bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or Engineering related field from an accredited university or college required.
  • Mechanical Engineer degree program preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including MS Excel is preferred.
  • Prior experience in CAD required.
  • Experience using SolidWorks is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a lab setting preferred.
  • Available to work up to 40 hr/week during the Summer Internship typical term of May - August required.
  • Located or will be located near our Fort Collins, CO office.
  • Relocation is not offered - housing and transportation are the intern's responsibility.
