About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for an established book of business
Manage new business and renewal marketing process
Work with client development team to develop renewal strategies
Prepare renewal presentations and employee communications
Run reporting and data analytics
Keep up to date with compliance and regulation
Identify cross sell and account rounding opportunities
Keep client information up to date in agency management systems
Work with carriers to resolve service and claims issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in employee benefits
Strong understanding of fully insured and level funded plans
Knowledge of ancillary benefits, COBRA, ACA, Section 125 and general compliance
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong project management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Active Michigan Life & Health License
