About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As part of the Labor Relations Department, you will work across a varied scope that allows you to fully apply your expertise.
- You will hold a comprehensive role combining individual employment relations, collective relations, advisory support to operational teams and social engineering projects.
- You will have the opportunity to develop real autonomy over your area and to be proactive in the topics assigned to you.
- Support teams in the field.
- Advise HR Managers, line managers and operational leadership on all matters of labor law and social security law.
- Provide legal advice and help propose secure, compliant solutions for situations encountered on the ground.
- Take part in designing and delivering training for HR Managers and/or senior management.
- Maintain active legal monitoring and, with the support of an apprentice, assist the rollout of legislative and collective bargaining changes to HR and operational teams.
- Manage individual employee cases.
- Independently handle individual casework: disciplinary procedures, contract terminations, unfitness assessments, and litigation (in coordination with external counsel).
- Oversee issues related to workplace accidents and occupational diseases.
- Participate in social dialogue and strategic projects.
- Contribute to the preparation and conduct of collective bargaining (drafting agreement proposals, presentation materials, etc.).
- Support operational teams and HR leaders in their interactions with employee representatives (Works Council / Health, Safety and Working Conditions Committee — CSE/CSSCT).
- Support transformation projects that have social impact.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You hold a Master 2 (equivalent) in Labor / Social Law.
- You have a minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally gained in a company covered by the metallurgy collective bargaining agreement.
- You have solid knowledge and hands-on experience managing individual employment relations (disciplinary matters, contract terminations, unfitness, litigation).
- You have a foundational knowledge of collective relations and have supported topics related to employee representative bodies (CSE), collective agreement negotiations, representativeness, etc.
- You are known for your strong drafting skills, analytical ability and interpersonal ease.
- You enjoy operational environments and cross-functional projects.
