About the role

  • Own the Strategy: Design and deploy global travel procurement strategies using market intelligence and best-in-class tools
  • Drive Compliance & Savings: Maximize use of approved travel management companies, reduce personal card usage, and hit annual productivity targets
  • Lead Globally: Chair a cross-functional global travel council to shape policy, pricing, and supplier relationships
  • Negotiate & Optimize: Lead RFQs, supplier negotiations, and contracting to secure discounts and reduce spend
  • Define KPIs: Establish clear metrics—advance booking adherence, class-of-service compliance, rebate maximization, and regional/global savings
  • Analyze & Present: Use Excel and travel analytics tools to extract insights and present recommendations to leadership
  • Collaborate & Improve: Conduct regular reviews with travel partners to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with Otis’ standards

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management
  • 5+ years of direct experience managing travel-related commodities (air, hotel, ground transport, etc.) preferred
  • University degree
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Proficiency in additional languages commonly used across the EMEA region is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to exercise independent business judgment and drive strategic initiatives across global teams
  • Strong strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contracting expertise
  • Demonstrated capability to lead complex data-driven analysis
  • Highly adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience rolling out corporate credit card programs across EMEA and APAC regions
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and executive-level presentations
  • Proven ability to lead multi-regional sourcing projects from strategy through execution
  • Experience managing distributed teams and working effectively in a matrixed global organization
