About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administrative handling of shipping, import and export processes
Preparation of all relevant transport and customs documents
Classification of goods under the customs tariff and monitoring of import and export processes
Correspondence with customers, customs authorities and transport service providers (in German and English)
Support for international internal corporate customers
Order processing
Analysis of sales data and forecasts to derive procurement measures and capacity adjustments
Project work to implement customer requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed commercial training in foreign trade / freight forwarding / logistics or a business administration degree (Bachelor)
At least 2 years' experience in administrative import and export handling
Independent and meticulous working style
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Excellent written and spoken German and English
Analytical skills
Basic technical understanding
Very good IT skills (MS Office, ERP systems)
